Provide albums for different budgets
Not all of your clients will want to spend a lot on an album, but some may want to go all the way and choose the highest-end option. Be prepared to meet their expectations and direct the majority of your clients to your middle option that you’ve set to be your sweet-spot by offering 2-3 options. If you think of a small/medium/large scenario, you might look at the PrimaBook or BloomBook as your starter option. These albums are very affordable because they are streamlined for simplicity meaning you also won’t have to invest much time into customisations. For your standard album option, most opt for the Classic AriaBook or Matte Paper ArtBook which, in addition to a wide range of sizes and cover materials to fit your needs, also include personalisations such as embossing or a cameo image to make the album feel special. Now, for your top option, you could explore using a combination of larger size, more pages, and/or more customisations such as a custom stamp or UV ink to make their album totally unique. Or, you can go above and beyond to offer something totally different like museum-quality cotton rag paper with optional hand-torn edges available in our Cotton Rag ArtBook or Journal ArtBook.
Show what you love - it’s easier to sell it that way!
When you decide to offer albums and other printed products to your clients, you are essentially becoming a salesperson, and this requires some skill. You need to have knowledge about your product offerings and most importantly, you need to love the products yourself. Think about how much easier the words come when you are talking about something you love or are passionate about. Get passionate about your products! You will exude natural confidence which is very important when your clients are looking to you to be the expert and guide them in their purchase decisions.
Take beautiful photos of your products!
When you receive your studio sample albums - and client orders as well - the best thing that you can do is to take beautiful photos that you can use on your website, and most importantly on your social media. Create a webpage dedicated to albums and give your clients all the information they need to make their choice. Regularly prepare some Instagram posts and stories to keep reminding your followers that you offer albums and to plant the seed to new prospects that this is a normal part of what they can expect from you. You can always use the tools that we have prepared for you in our sales kit like stock photos of our products.
Meet with clients to let them experience the printed photography!
Times have changed, and we don’t know when we will be freely able to meet again. Face to face meetings are the best for being able to touch and feel, but we need to work with what we have, and being able to see the samples with your eyes is better than not at all. Online meetings can also be successful and you can still showcase your albums, plant the seeds early and make the sale.
Don’t worry if you can’t make the studio sample order now and avail of the NEW YEAR SAMPLE OFFER. Our regular studio samples are always discounted by 50% so you can order any time.
