If you’re unsure which product is the best fit for you and your clients, the key factor to consider is the paper. Not all papers suit every client type. Clients who may not prioritize fine art printing might find the extra care required for ArtBooks less appealing.

The Keys to Successful Album Sales

The first rule of thumb in album sales is to have a physical set of samples—ideally two or three. Clients make decisions with their eyes and hearts, and seeing the products firsthand is crucial. We offer an unbeatable studio sample promotion and even a trade-in program if you’d like to replace old samples, regardless of the company they’re from.

The second rule is to upsell effectively, following this order:

Entry-Level Book

Start with a budget-friendly option for clients who may not prioritize printed products. PrimaBook or Pocket are perfect for this purpose—affordable solutions with some limitations, making them ideal for tighter budgets.

Flush Mount Album

This is where most of your clients should land. The AriaBook stands out with its superior presentation, crafted with premium Fuji DPII paper and available in thin, regular, or ultra-thick page options. With all our fabrics and leathers available, it delivers a stunning, high-quality finish.

Another top choice in this category is the ArtBook, printed on smooth matte paper. Priced similarly to the AriaBook, it offers a completely different tactile experience. Both the AriaBook 10x10” and ArtBook 10x10” are our best-selling albums, thanks to their versatility and quality.

Prestige Product

For clients seeking something truly extraordinary, introduce them to Cotton Rag paper. This premium option is crafted with archival inks, free from optical brighteners and acids, and rated to last for hundreds of years without fading—a significant selling point for discerning buyers.

Choose from a classic hardcover with straight-cut page edges, elevate it with hand-torn deckled edges, or go for the ultimate luxury: the Journal ArtBook. This standout piece combines deckled-edge pages with a soft, wrap-around leather cover, making it a show-stopping heirloom.

By following these steps and offering a range of options, you’ll cater to every client’s needs and maximize your sales potential.

and then upsell some more:

We offer unrivaled pricing for FLAT RATE DUPLICATES in our most popular sizes, and a 30% discount on other duplicates that might not qualify for the flat rate. You can make additional profit on upgrading your album boxes or adding print boxes with fine art prints.

While designing album avoid images with heavy use of deep blacks. Please keep images off the crease as with time the ink on the crease might be prone to cracking.
